Interior Warranty

LIMITED WARRANTY: Heffernan Painting Services, Ltd. warrants labor and materials for a period of two (2) years. If paint failure appears, we will supply labor and materials to correct the condition without cost. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied. Our responsibility is limited to correcting the condition above. This warranty excludes, and in no event will Heffernan Painting Services, Ltd. be responsible for consequential or incidental damages caused by accident or abuses, temperature changes, settlement or moisture; i.e., cracks caused by expansion and /or contraction. Cracks will be properly prepared as indicated at time of job, but will not be covered by this warranty.

Exterior Warranty

For a period of four years following the completion of the original job, Heffernan Painting Services, Ltd. will maintain any areas of coating failure. The first and second years this service will be provided at no cost to you, and the third and fourth years this service will be provided to you at our hourly rate with a 10% discount.

Areas Excluded From Warranty: Coating failures caused by vandalism, fire, home alterations, structural changes, rust, rotting wood, hail, tornado, or water damage caused by winter "ice damming" or other roof leaks, breakdown of previously applied coatings, inner coat peeling between exciting coating, weakened or inferior substrates, and paint failure on any metal surfaces and decks, patios or flooring are not covered by this guarantee.

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS: In the event Contractor (Heffernan Painting Services, Ltd.) encounters on the job site lead-based paint or any other hazardous material such as, but not limited to, asbestos about which the Contractor has not been notified in writing prior to entering into the Agreement with the Owner, the Contractor shall immediately stop work and shall not be responsible for the testing, removal, disposal or rendering harmless of such material. The Owner agrees to hold the Contractor harmless as to any liability resulting from such material in the event the Contractor has not been notified ahead as aforesaid. Additional costs including overhead and profit, incurred by these conditions shall be reimbursed to the Contractor.
